Agile Fluency Diagnostic Facilitator

The Agile Fluency Diagnostic Facilitator Workshop is an intensive course designed to evaluate a team's agility level and provide a systematic approach for improvement. This couse is tailored for independent consultants, teams coaches, and organizational coaches. Participants will learn in small groups how to conduct a structured self-assessment and pinpoint crucial areas for improvement.

The course consists of four components:

"Liftoff"
“Framing the Opportunity”
“Assessing the Current State”
“Partnering with Management”

Upon completing the course, participants will obtain a license to use the Agile Fluency Model. This allows them to develop a growth plan for a team, create alignment with management, and strategically plan organizational development for improvements.

The course dates are held as online sessions with a personal trainer. Interspersed coaching circle sessions support participants in applying their newly acquired knowledge. The maximum course size is limited to 8 participants, and the course typically spans over three months.

What can you expect?

Training Content

In this course, participants will learn to conduct a systematic diagnostic process for a team.

The diagnostic process consists of three crucial steps:

Gaining a better understanding of the organization: We will teach you how to have a structured discussion with management regarding organizational goals. From these goals, you will learn to determine the appropriate Agile Fluency Zone for the team.
Conducting a self-assessment workshop with the team: You will learn to facilitate a workshop where the team collects essential data for the diagnostic process. You will use specific questions to help the team gain new insights, primarily focusing on the team's revealed behavior.
Processing and presenting results: You will learn to compile the results into reports that are understandable for both the team and management, providing a basis for recommendations. You will create an improvement process that can support the team and the organization over several months.

By applying the Agile Fluency Diagnostic to multiple teams within the same organization, you can draw conclusions about the organization. By repeatedly applying the Agile Fluency Diagnostic to the same teams, you can make statements about the development of the team or the organization.

Who can benefit from this training?

This training is designed for independent consultants, team coaches, and organizational coaches and managers.

As an independent consultant
you can provide an impartial and competent perspective by using a peer-reviewed and recognized model to assess teams. You can offer concrete suggestions and improvements that will result in better and more effective agility. Ultimately, you will lead the team to better results.

As a team coach, Scrum Master, Kanban coach
you will be able to determine the target agility level of your team, regardless of the preferred agile method, and know where to focus your activities next. Using the Improvement Cycle, you will have a systematic tool to drive improvements forward and obtain reliable results.

As a CEO/CTO
you can implement a professional and systematic approach to determining your agile zone in conjunction with your business needs. You will be able to follow systematic activities to improve your landscape of software development teams.

Key facts about the Agile Fluency Diagnostic training

Times

The interactive online training always starts at the same time and lasts between 90 and 180 minutes. The total of 8+1 sessions will take place over a period of approximately 3 months (more than 16 hours of contact time). Practice exercises will be completed between sessions. Attendance at each session is mandatory. (If you miss a session, you can start again for free in the next training within 6 months.)

Good to know

In our in-person training sessions, beverages, lunch, and healthy snacks are included in the price.
For participants of our training sessions, we offer an event ticket from Deutsche Bahn at an exclusive fixed price. You will receive the booking link after registration and in the pre-event information emails for the booked training.

Certification

After successfully completing the workshop, you are now a licensed Agile Fluency Diagnostic Facilitator through the Agile Fluency Project, and can use the team diagnosis for your own work. The license is valid for 12 months from the end of the course and can be renewed for a fee. The license benefits include participation in sessions with Diana Larsen and James Shore, as well as inclusion in a public list of Agile Fluency Project Diagnostic Facilitators.

Language

The language of training is English. Some materials may be provided in English and German.

Price

The prices are in Euros, subject to the current value-added tax (VAT), and are payable within 14 days of receiving the invoice.

Group size

A maximum of 4 participants per company is permitted, for both in-person and online sessions. We make sure that the group size fosters effective learning and a productive learning environment with diversity.

SEUs

This event can be credited towards SEUs (Scrum Education Units).
